ESSnet KOMUSO Workshop on "Quality of Multisource Statistics" in Copenhagen, Denmark (duration: 1 day)

Event Description


The workshop consists of sessions related to the work of the ESSnet "Quality of Multisource Statistics" (KOMUSO) on the development of quality guidelines for multisource statistics including statistics based on data from administrative registers.

All KOMUSO outputs are available on the CROS portal. The workshop will give an overview of the results from the two first two rounds of work by the KOMUSO network and the work to be carried out in the third and last round. Workshop results will be used to fine-tune this last round of work and steer the dissemination of that work in order for it to be as useful as possible for all ESS partners working on the development of statistics based on administrative sources and the combination of more than one data source.

 A primary goal is to collect your feedback on key KOMUSO outputs:

Participants are expected to contribute actively by sharing their relevant experiences and challenges.

Participants can be people working with methods and quality assurance – but equally important subject matter people working in a specific area of statistics using or planning to use administrative data or a combination administrative and other data sources in statistical production.

Participants can reimburse their travel expenses from the funds of the project (one expert per ESS member*).

In order to prepare a lively exchange, additional preparation material will be circulated in due time before the event to all participants.
The workshop will combine short presentations by the KOMUSO team with open roundtable discussions and feedback rounds.
